Meet Jen: Founder of hUDOMA - the brand offering versatile and stylish pram gloves for fashion-forward consumers.
A background to launching hUDOMA:
Being hospitalised due to COVID-19 and pneumonia at the onset of the pandemic (April 2020) and at 36 weeks pregnant was a defining moment that profoundly impacted my journey towards launching hUDOMA. This challenging period of recovery from illness, a c-section and caring for a newborn baby in lockdown provided me with a newfound perspective on life. I realised that life is too precious to be spent waiting for the "perfect" moment to pursue dreams and passions.
With a renewed sense of purpose and determination I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey, leveraging my experiences, skills, and insights to build a business that resonates with my values and aspirations.
About Jen:
I'm a proud mother to two children, who have been my aspiration to launching hUDOMA. As the sole individual behind the business, with support from friends and family, I take pride in overseeing every aspect of hUDOMA. Even my children chip in, helping to pack orders when needed.
This past winter marked our most successful sales season yet. There were times when it was all hands-on deck, packing orders to ensure they reached our customers promptly. Yet, nothing filled me with more pride and excitement than personally delivering sacks of our packaged products to the post office, ready to be shipped out to our customers.
Winning the accolade for the best pram gloves of 2023 in The Independent was an emotional moment for me. It validated the countless hours of effort poured into hUDOMA, all while juggling the responsibilities of motherhood, a career, and home-building.
About hUDOMA:
hUDOMA currently specialises in creating versatile, stylish and practical pram gloves for fashion-forward consumers. The brand name comes from my two children's middle names, by combining three letters from each name Hudson (Hud) and Paloma (oma). Our flagship product, hUDOMA pram gloves, has the vision to transform the pram-pushing experience for parents in colder months.
Our gloves have been designed with both style and practicality in mind. No matter the weather or the juggles of parenting, you’ll be able to handle it this winter. We’ve used a New York inspired colour palette and luxury textures to deliver a contemporary look for your pram, stroller or buggy. These gloves are an essential accessory for parents who want to keep warm.
